Our story
Ceylon Speechie was established in 2018 by Nadini Perera Wickramasingha an award winning researcher and Speech Pathologist from Sri Lanka. She established the concept while practicing as a Speech Pathologist seeing the growing need for holistic care, parental and institutional training for children faced with developmental delays. Ceylon Speechie in 2019 established two clinics in Colombo Sri Lanka and in 2020 expanded services online reaching nine countries globally. The services further expanded to include adult services, training and research at present with highly qualified professionals from around the world.
Currently Ceylon Speechie is a leading exporter of medical and rehabilitative services in Sri Lanka. Through the profit gained equipments are purchased for government hospitals in Sri Lanka to carry out maternity and pediatric work , meals, toys and medical services provisions to pregnant mothers and young children are done in collaboration with government and non-governmental organizations.
Reaching from Ceylon to the world becoming an effective service provider reaching parts of the world in need of Speech and Language Therapy and related Services providing life changing services.
We are excited and honored to be an effective virtual service and training center that provides holistic and individualized care for every client, whilst providing trainings and research for institutions for the promotion of scientific, evidence based treatment in Speech and Language Therapy and related services.
